have purchased what appears to be the Carnarvon set of manuals for the radar. I have looked them over briefly and hope to figure out what to do with them soon. They are bound so I could disassemble and scan them, and may do so for the 8 1/2 x 11's. I would need to borrow something for the large volume.
There is a note about servicing a unit (Maybe Carnarvon's) at Wallop's Island. It may only be that the manuals were forwarded there.
This is the radar used to track Mercury, and i would assume other flights at long range.
The other bit from the manuals was a list of custom drawings for several sites.
Bermuda
Carnarvon
Kauai Island
Guaymas
Corpus Cristi
Grand Canary Island.
